Connecting Artisans, Businesses, and the World —
A Co-Creation Platform for Japanese Traditional Crafts
Kogei Japonica is a co-creation platform centered on Japanese traditional crafts. It welcomes artisans and makers working within these traditions, regardless of nationality or location, and connects them with businesses, galleries, public institutions, researchers, collectors, and craft enthusiasts around the world.
For artisans, the platform creates opportunities for promotion, sales, market development, and creative partnerships. For businesses, it provides access to traditional techniques, skilled craftsmanship, and cultural heritage that can inspire product development, branding, spatial design, and new forms of collaboration.
By bringing together craft, business, culture, and technology, Kogei Japonica aims to build a new global ecosystem in which Japanese traditional crafts can be shared, valued, reinterpreted, and carried forward into the future.
